Option 3 — Email us
If you can no longer sign in, send a deletion request from the email address linked to your account to:
Include the email address or phone number on your Xendly account. We respond within 7 business days and complete the deletion within 30 days of verifying your request.
What we delete
When your deletion request is processed, we permanently remove the following personal data from our active systems:
- Your name, email address, phone number, and profile photo
- Your delivery addresses and any saved storefront preferences
- Push-notification tokens and active login sessions
- Any reviews or reports you submitted that personally identify you
- Files you uploaded as a personal user (avatars, attachments)
- If you chose to delete it, the business you owned and all of its products, orders, customers, and team members
What we keep, and for how long
Some data must be retained after your account is deleted, either because the law requires it or because removing it would harm other parties who relied on it (for example, businesses you transacted with). Where possible we anonymize this data so it can no longer be linked back to you.
- Financial transaction records — 10 years, as required by Rwandan financial-services and anti-money-laundering regulations.
- Order and invoice records held by merchants — kept for as long as the merchant retains their own accounting records. Your name on those records is replaced with “Deleted user”.
- Tax-related documentation — 7 years, as required by Rwandan tax regulations.
- Security and fraud-prevention logs — up to 1 year, to investigate abuse or chargeback disputes.
- Backup snapshots — overwritten on a rolling 30-day schedule. Any residual personal data in backups is purged within 30 days of your deletion request.
If you delete a business
Deleting a business is irreversible. All of its products, orders, customers, team-member accounts, and uploaded files are removed within 30 days. Financial transaction records associated with the business are retained for 10 years as described above, but are disassociated from your personal account.
